At Wood Intermediate, there is a wide variety of activities in which our students can participate and be active, such as Football, Chorus, Orchestra, as well as the 100 Blackmen and many more!
100 Blackmen
The 100 Blackmen organization is a mentoring program. Approximately twenty-five students participate from Wood Intermediate School. The group meets monthly throughout the school year. One of the standards for monthly participation is each student must maintain a GPA of a 2.0 and above. Proudly, this year eighty percent of the students maintained a GPA of a 3.0 and above. The second requirement is that of not having any in school nor out of school suspensions. Contact Mr. Jackson for more details.
