On February 20, 2014 from 5:30-7pm, students of Wood Intermediate School held a National History Day (NHD) Showcase. This year’s theme is, “Rights and Responsibilities.” In preparation, students chose topics to research that were 25 years old or older that they had to tie to the theme. On January 31st Wood Intermediate vocal department under the preparation of Mr. Tadlock participated in the SE Iowa Choral Directors Association Elementary/Middle School Honor Choirs. Congratulations to Matthew Dibbern a 7th grade student at Wood Intermediate. Matthew competed in the Scott County Park Frostbit Foot Race on January 18th. Matthew won First Place in his age group of 10-14 year olds and took 4th place in the overall race! Way to go Matthew! Read more
