Davenport Schools Special Education Transportation

In order to receive transportation services, students living within the walking zone of their school must have a transportation accommodation outlined in their IEP. Therefore, if you have concerns about your student’s ability to get to and from school, you should make a point to bring this up at your student’s IEP meeting. If something changes before the yearly IEP review, or if there is an issue with their current transportation accommodations, your first point of contact should be with their classroom teacher, or the Special Education Department Chair at the school.
