    Buffalo Kids Help Others

    “Third  and 4th grade students at Buffalo School worked with  Kids Against Hunger to package 8000 bags of food for starving children in Haiti and Nicaragua.  This is an annual activity sponsored by one of Buffalo School’s community partners, Cargill Salt.” Read more

    Kindergarten Round-Up To Do List

    Kindergarten Round up is just around the corner.  It will be held at Buffalo Elementary on Thursday, April 18, 2013, starting at 9 am and will last one hour. The incoming kindergarten students will enjoy some activities with the kindergarten teachers and staff while parents will have kindergarten orientation

    Kindergarten Round-Up

    This year we are inviting families to register for kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year beginning March 1.  Families are invited to stop in to pick up and submit forms to the office to begin the process.  We will need birth certificate, proof of address, immunization record, and dental screening.  Kindergarten round up will be held April 18 at 9:00.  Please call the office for more information.     Fifth Grade Visits BizTown

    On December 19th, 2012 the 5th grade classes participated in BizTown as part of the Junior Achievement program. In the picture Tara Howland, DCoda Meeks, Keyron Combs, Forrest Cook, and Ivori Bly worked at the Variety Store.  There they sold little items such as sun glasses, stuffed animals, and erasers.  Students marketed and priced the items, took out loans from the bank, and paid their employees just Read more

    End of Third Quarter

    Third quarter ends on Wednesday, March 13. Students will be dismissed at 12:40. Spring break begins March 14 and school resumes March 25. Friday, March 29 is a district in-service day, so there will be no school for students. Read more

    The Spring Book Fair will begin on Thursday, March 7th and continue until Wednesday, March 13th. Students will be previewing books and coming home with a wish list.
