High School Jump Academy
For Incoming 9th Grade Students at Central, Mid City, North and West High Schools
JUMP Academy will be held on Wednesday, August 12 for all incoming 9th-grade students and their families. This event provides an opportunity for students and parents/guardians to meet teachers, counselors, administrators, and other school staff while learning more about their high school and available resources.
During JUMP Academy, students will:
- Pick up their class schedules
- Receive their Chromebook for the school year
- Learn about school expectations and opportunities
- Become familiar with their new school environment
Sessions will be offered at each of DCSD's four high schools. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend with their student.
