Creative Arts Academy

Dance. Media Arts. Music. Theater. Visual Arts.

The Creative Arts Academy of the Quad Cities is a specialized, arts-integrated program within the Davenport Community School District that prepares middle and high school students for success in college, careers, and the creative economy.

What is the Creative Arts Academy?

CAA blends rigorous academics with arts-focused, project-based learning, helping students build the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world — including:

  • Collaboration

  • Communication

  • Critical Thinking

  • Creativity

Whether your student is passionate about music, dance, theater, visual arts, or media arts, CAA provides the space, tools, and mentorship to grow as both an artist and a scholar.

Academy students receive an education unlike most classroom settings. From enrichment opportunities and partner resources to visiting artists and hands-on workshops, our students experience arts and creativity in the community — not just in the classroom.

The Creative Arts Academy infuses individual student learning with creativity and innovation applied through a career-oriented arts foundation that prepares students for a global marketplace.
