DCSD 5th graders recently had an opportunity to visit the middle school they’ll be attending next year!
This visit is an important part of helping our students feel more comfortable and confident as they prepare for this next big step. During their time at the middle school, students toured the building, met with teachers and staff, and had a chance to talk with current middle schoolers who shared their own experiences and answered questions.
We believe that #growingexcellence means supporting them through every transition.. Giving students a glimpse into their future learning environment helps reduce anxiety, build excitement, and ensure they feel ready for the year ahead.
