A big thank you to the Davenport Schools Foundation for their generous support through a Great Minds Grant, which covered transportation costs for students from Smart, Wood, and Williams schools to attend the Special Olympics Inclusion Week Unified Sports Day at the TBK Sports Complex on March 25th. Unified Sports is a Special Olympics program that brings together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities, fostering recreation, friendship, and social inclusion. The students had a fantastic time participating in nine engaging recreation stations and enjoyed lunch together, making for a memorable day of fun and community.
