27 Students Commit to Career Pathways at Apprenticeship Signing Day

Twenty seven DCSD Career and Technical Education (CTE)students took a significant step toward their futures by signing letters of intent for apprenticeships with local employers during the Quad Cities Chamber's Apprenticeship Signing Day. The event recognized students committing to work-based learning opportunities that prepare them for in-demand careers in the region.

The Registered High School Apprenticeship (RHSA) Signing Day celebrated students who will begin paid, hands-on training in critical career fields such as Auto Body/Mechanic, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), CNC Machining, Concrete, Electrical, Heavy Equipment Operation, Plumbing, Supply Chain Management, Panel Fabrication, and Welding.

The RHSA program is a collaborative initiative among the Chamber, local school districts, and business partners aimed at developing the Quad Cities’ talent pipeline. By connecting students with real-world opportunities while they’re still in high school, the program helps address workforce shortages and supports regional economic growth.
