Davenport Schools Foundation Opens 2026 Scholarship Applications

The Davenport Schools Foundation is pleased to announce that the application process for its 2026 scholarship program will officially open on November 1, 2025. Graduating seniors from Davenport Community School District high schools are encouraged to apply for over 70 scholarships totaling more than $175,000 in financial awards.

These scholarships, made possible through the generosity of community donors, alumni, and Foundation partners, are designed to support a wide range of students pursuing higher education, vocational training, or other post-secondary opportunities. Awards recognize academic excellence, leadership, community involvement, athletic achievement, career interests, and financial need.

Applications are due by February 22, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

“This is an extraordinary opportunity for our graduating seniors,” said Steve Ahrens, Executive Director of the Davenport Schools Foundation. “We are proud to help students take the next step toward their future and grateful to our donors who continue to invest in our students year after year.”

All eligible students are encouraged to apply online through the Davenport Schools Foundation website at www.davenportschools.org/foundation/scholarships starting November 1. Detailed scholarship descriptions and the universal application and instructions are available on the site.

Applications are reviewed by the Davenport Schools Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee, chaired by DSF Board Secretary Sue Rector along with community members, with award winners announced in May.
