Congratulations to Central High's Jazz 1 for placing 4th in Class 4A at the Iowa Jazz Championships — the highest finish ever for DCSD!
Baylee Parker was named one of only four Outstanding Soloists in Class 4A! She earned a full-ride scholarship to the Summer Jazz Academy at Bard College and Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC! She’ll be one of just 42 students worldwide to attend the 2-week intensive camp and work with the members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center!
