Celebrating SCRA Grants Supporting Our Schools!

We are excited to share that Davenport schools have once again benefited from the generosity of the Scott County Regional Authority (SCRA). In its Fall 2024 grant cycle, SCRA awarded several grants to support our students and enhance their learning experiences:
- McKinley Elementary received $50,000 for an ADA-accessible playground project.
- Harrison and Truman Elementary Schools were awarded $29,870 for world music drumming instruments to enrich their music classrooms.
Earlier this year, the SCRA also funded:
- North High School with $54,179 for a graphic arts lab.
- West High School with $16,748 for a greenhouse project.
We are incredibly grateful for the SCRA’s continued support of Davenport youth and are proud to celebrate their milestone of awarding over $100 million in grants since 1991!
