Scholarships

The Davenport Schools Foundation is excited to announce a Common Applications for all scholarship opportunities offered by the Foundation. This means students will only need to fill out one application to be considered for all scholarships. Please note that once you start the application, you cannot save and return later. Be ready will all materials to complete the application in one sitting.

The Davenport Schools Foundation Scholarship Program awards over $85,000.00 annually in college scholarships to graduating seniors. Many generous community members and Davenport Community School District alumni have endowed our scholarships into perpetuity. We are grateful for their generosity.  

The following school counselors are primary contacts for scholarship information:

Teachers/community members:  if you have been asked to submit a letter of reference for a student, please click here: DSF Reference Letter form

Students:  If you were awarded a DSF Scholarship, or CHS Hall of Honor Scholarship, or Jerry Jurgens Scholarship or were awarded a renewable scholarship and need to submit the Student Information form, click here for the Student Information Form

PLEASE NOTE:  Davenport Schools Foundation is only accepting electronic submission of Scholarship Applications and there is one single application for all scholarships. Reasonable accommodations may be made for paper applications – please consult with your Professional School Counselors.

Be sure to check with your high school counselors office for other scholarship opportunities.  When applying for scholarships, be sure to ask for recommendations, references, a second-semester schedule, and transcripts well in advance of the deadline.
