Communications and Community Relations
At the Davenport Community School District, we believe regular communication strengthens relationships, builds trust and credibility, improves students’ ability to learn, and connects teachers and parents for the benefit of students. The Communications & Community Engagement department works closely with administration and staff to tell stories of Growing Excellence throughout our district to students, parents, employees and the public. Timely information is shared through the website, social media, newsletters, email, phone calls, and text messages.
Our office also seeks opportunities to partner with community organizations for the purpose of supporting student social, emotional and academic growth and achieving our goal of Growing Excellence for every student.
