Davenport Community School District Bag and Backpack Rule

To ensure the safety and security of all attendees at DCSD athletic events, non-athlete spectators are not permitted to bring backpacks, book bags, duffle bags, string bags, or oversized purses into the stadium. This policy aligns with similar security measures at sporting venues nationwide and helps provide a safe environment for students, families, and fans.

Key Guidelines:

• Individuals who bring bags will be asked to return them to their vehicles. DCSD staff cannot store bags.

• Entry to athletic events will be denied to anyone attempting to bring a bag into the stadium.

• Student-athletes and coaches must place their bags in a designated area and may not keep them in spectator areas. DCSD is not responsible for lost or stolen items in these areas.
