JB's LEGO Robotics Team--Scrimmage
JB Young's first LEGO
Robotics team participated in a scrimmage at Williams Intermediate on January
13, 2007. Members of the team are Jake Stewart, Eli Mayfield, Travis
Hattery, Brittany Fisher, Tyler Hurst, Jackie Howard, Chris Holcomb, Angela
Tague, Kaitlyn Chavez, and Brittany Hazelwood.
Latte Drive
provided a treat of smoothies for the
team. The scrimmage was held in preparation for the state LEGO Robotics
competition at Ames, Iowa, on January 20, 2007. Dave Heinrichs, 6th grade
science teacher, is the team's coach. His is assisted by TAG Facilitator
Mrs. Hill. Dr. Tom Hill, St. Ambrose University professor, is the
team's engineering mentor.
