JB's TRACK TEAMS:  April 7, 2009

The track team put on a great show of effort and sportsmanship in the met @ Bettendorf last night.  The teams improved  many of their times from the first meet. 

Taking 1st of the night were the 7th grade girls 4 x 100 team of Atavia Rush, Dajanique Jackson, Dasia Butler, and Dasia Smith.  Jackson also won the 200-meter dash with Smith winning the shot put. 

The 7th grade girls also took 2nd place overallt.  Great job, girls.

The 8th grade girls did a great job also with Sheniquia Wilson leading the way with a 2ns place finish in the shot put.

On the boys' side, the 7th grade team was lead by Tyler Pethoud with wins in the shot put and discus.

The 8th grade boys were lead by Marcell Kirk with a win in shot put.

GREAT JOB to all who worked hard on the teams.
