Poe's
"Tell-Tale Heart"
Goes
on Trial
in Mrs. Searle's English Studies Class
Each group
worked together to write the opening remarks for the prosecutor and defense
attorney in the trial of Mr. Narrator. Students also prepared
witnesses. Poor, deceased Mr. Oldman. Did his murder go
unpunished? Was Mr. Narrator found guilty of murder in the first degree,
or was he found not guilty by reason of insanity?
