Sixth grader Brenna Guard (on the left
in all pictures) completed a National History Day project about Deborah
Sampson, America's first female soldier. Brenna's research paper was
so good, she qualified for the state competition in the research paper
category.
Natalie Baugher's National History Day
project was an exhibit board about the late Father Catich, who was a
professor at St. Ambrose. Natalie focused on his strong
beliefs about liturgical art. Natalie qualified for the state
competition in the exhibit board category.
Mary Bettsworth and Alexis Ahmed also
entered a group exhibit about the bonus army.
