Chris VanHese, Brianna Stovall, Alexis Ashcroft, Dominique Dickerson, A.J. Larson, Alejandro Vasquez, Ryan Klein, and Isabella Hamby were all nominated.

These students were nominated by the Eighth Grade Team on the basis of academic standing, extra-curricular participation, and general well-rounded citizenship.  All eight should be very proud.

A.J. Larson and Isabella Hamby (not pictured here) are the two winners.  They'll receive trophies at the end-of-the-year celebration.

All eight are being asked to work together to create a PowerPoint presentation of their three years at JB.  In addition, students will be able to decide how to spend $1000 dollars within the school.  The money is from the Jurgens Foundation, which sponsors the Merit Award.
