I am Anne Hoeper, the TAG Facilitator at Wood. This is my sixteenth year teaching at Wood. I earned a BA degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a MA degree from St. Xavier University. I received the Distinguished Teaching Achievement Award from the National Council for Geographic Education, the Middle School Social Studies Teacher of the Year from the Iowa Council for Social Studies, and award for Excellence in Teaching. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to on 6 continents and visit 20 countries. I have two adult children and two adult step-children along with 5 grandchildren. My interests include the Iowa Hawkeyes, boating, reading, traveling, technology, and playing with my 4 parrots. I am excited about working with TAG students at Wood. Some of the activities include 6th grade Foundations for Success, 6th and 7th grade math enrichment , 7th and 8th grade - Mock Trial, Invent Iowa, Iowa Stories, and National History Day.
