The Davenport Schools All City Intermediate String Festival was held on Saturday, October 12th at West High School. String students from all of the Davenport Intermediate schools prepared and performed together in a combined orchestra. The festival this year was directed by former Central High School string teacher, Charles Abplanalp.
The 8th grade girls volleyball team ended their season with a second place finish at the 8th grade city tournament at North high school on October 5th.
