    Wood Singers Selected for 2014 SE Iowa District Honor Choir

    On January 31st Wood Intermediate  vocal department under the preparation of Mr. Tadlock participated in the SE Iowa Choral Directors Association Elementary/Middle School Honor Choirs.     Viking 7th Grader Darts to 1st Place at the Frostbite 5k Foot Race!

    Congratulations to Matthew Dibbern a 7th grade student at Wood Intermediate.  Matthew competed in the Scott County Park Frostbit Foot Race on January 18th.  Matthew won First Place in his age group of 10-14 year olds and took 4th place in the overall race!  Way to go Matthew! Read more

    7th Grade Choir Spreads Holiday Cheer to QCA Elderly

    The Wood Intermediate 7th grade  select choir performed at area retirement homes on December 13 during their annual Winter Tour.  The audiences of Ridge Crest, the Fountains and C.A.S.I. were serenaded to a wide variety of holiday and winter themed music.  A large portion of the program featured solos and small groups who sang their hearts out to the delight Read more

    Student Council Penny Drive Was A Smash (in the face!)
