Mrs. Schultz-Principal

Hello! I am thrilled to be the Principal at Wood Intermediate School. Wood has an outstanding staff. Our students are wonderful and the parents are supportive. Please feel free to contact me anytime. I am happy to help.

I have been with the Davenport School District since 1989. I taught math at Smart Intermediate School for 10 years. I moved into administration in 1999 as the Associate Principal at Smart Intermediate School. In 2000, I transferred to Wood Intermediate School as the Associate Principal. In 2003, I became the Principal at Washington Elementary and moved to Wilson Elementary in 2005. I am happy to be back at Wood.

I graduated from Wartburg College in 1989 with a BA. I majored in math and minored in physical education. I received my Masters in Administration (1998) and Educational Special degree (2005) from Western Illinois University.

I am married and have two wonderful daughters. Things that bring joy to my day: music, crafting, knitting, cooking, reading, camping, traveling, and gardening.
