Mrs. Dyer - Language Arts |

My name is Maureen Dyer. This is my third
year at Wood Intermediate, but
I have been teaching English for five
years. I graduated from the
University of Iowa with a bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass
Communications (Go Hawks!) and went on to receive my master degrees
from Western Illinois University. Born and raised in the Quad Cities, I
attended Bettendorf High School, but am thrilled to be a part of the
great team of Davenport teachers. I love to read a
variety of literature, write stories of my own, do lots of
traveling, and spend time with my husband,
our new baby, Hailey, and our dog, Cassius.
I look forward to a year of sharing great literature with great
students. Please contact me with any questions or concerns about my
classes.
