  • North Shadow Day for 8th Grade Students

The North Shadow Day is scheduled on April 24th (students with last names of A-L) and April 26th (students with last names of M-Z). In order to attend Shadow Day 8th grade students must be enrolled at North High School for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.  If they are NOT enrolled the Transfer Option paperwork needs to be completed prior to the deadline. This experience is intended to help make the transition from intermediate school to high school an easier one. Students will be bussed from Wood to North. When students arrive at the auditorium there will be a short presentation by our Associate Principal.  Students will then meet with student ambassadors who will facilitate the visit, which includes a tour, group activities, and observing a core classroom.  All students will use their Davenport Community Schools ID number to pay for lunch at North. Students will be bussed back to Wood in the afternoon.

Permission slips are due by back with the 3rd Quarter Report Card Envelope by April 10th.
