    Wood Intermediate’s 7th grader Rachel Sallis earned a special award at the regional National History Day competition at Saint Ambrose University for the competition’s best project in fine arts entitled, The “Mulatto” Girl in the Painting. The award was given by the Figgie Art Museum.
