    West Student Qualifies for State

    Andrew Wright

    Andrew Wright

Congratulations to Andrew Wright for qualifying to the State Cross Country meet next weekend in Fort Dodge. This is Andrew’s 2nd year in a row for qualifying for State by finishing 5th place last night at the District Meet at Crow Creek in Bettendorf. He had a back and forth race, but he was in the Top 15 the whole time. He’s really been working hard the last two years, and we expect him to do well next Saturday. Good luck at State, Andrew.

    Photos by Searle

On Friday, October 21, Mr. Brosius’s Web Design class, composed of Mitchel Zogg, Michael Hutchinson, Shawna Reasoner, and Dolan Honeycutt, after carefully analyzing the WHS TODAY website, presented design ideas to Ms. Hansen’s Journalism class.  Both groups shared ideas, and the coders will have their work cut out for them. Impressive ideas developed as students talked.  Great day to be a Falcon.
