    Yearbook Awards Tiffani Johnson, Chelsey Davis, Jawenda Zamora, and Danielle Vasquez won  Third Place   and Honorable Mentions from the Iowa High School Press Association.  Congratulations!

    West’s Life Skills Program Dabbles in Business

    instant soupMs. Rommel’s Life Skills students made instant soup packets to sell. Thanks to everyone who purchased an instant soup from our class.  The students enjoyed making and delivering them. 

    Last Hunger Drive School Event: Costume.Hat Day

    West’s Freddie Falcon Pageant Raises $464 for Hunger Drive

    Thanks to the teachers and students who attended Student Senate’s Freddie Falcon Pageant; we raised $464 for the Student Hunger Drive.  Pictures were taken by Haley Hammond and Lexi Lizano.  Freddie Falcon contestants modeled formal wear and crazy spirit wear as they answered questions about the Food Drive and played Minute-to-Win-It games.  Student Senate members Lena Nguyen and Caroline Wojkowski were responsible for making the event happen!   Click here for more photos.

    Last weekend our Diamond Dancers performed at Cedar Rapids Prairie in the “Stack the Stands” Competition. They came away with 1st Place in 5A Poms Category, 1st Place in 5A Kicks Category and 2nd place overall combining all categories and classes. Congratulations, Ladies.
