Falcon Fever Represents in Washington, D.C.

The West High robotics team Falcon Fever, 2013 Real World Design Challenge (RWDC) State Champions, recently traveled to Washington, D.C., for the RWDC National Competition.  Team members Pardeep Sani, James Larsen, Amber Sawvell, Tuyen Nguyen, Carina Grady, and Eli Shellabarger designed an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle intended for search and rescue, and represented the State of Iowa well at the competition.  The Real World Design Challenge provides high school students across the nation the opportunity to work on real world engineering challenges in a team environment, applying the lessons of the classroom to the technical problems that are being faced in the workplace.  Way to go, Falcon Fever.
