My name is Pam Douglas and
I teach 7th grade Health to your 7 West student. I enjoy my job here
at Smart because of the great staff I get to work with everyday and of course
the fun of teaching! The BEST part about Health is that it’s NEVER
DULL—information is always changing and students are always learning new
things.
Any “spare” time I
have left is for coaching 8th grade girls’ volleyball and 7th
grade girls’ basketball OR just playing some sports of my own.
Just follow these simple
procedures below and you’ll do great:
PLANNERS: the student
planners are part of a student’s grade in my class.
Students receive 5 points
daily for bringing their planner to class. They receive 10 points on MONDAYS if
their planner is signed by a parent or
guardian.
CLASS RULES: Raise hand
to speak, no throwing things, be responsible, use common sense, be respectful,
be cooperative, be on time, no gum/candy/or pop.
EXTRA CREDIT: Students
can earn extra credit in my class by cutting “health” related articles out
of the newspaper and turning them in. Articles
should relate to what we talk about in class.
Any questions, please
feel free to contact me by email: hobartp@mail.davenport.k12.ia.us,
or call me at 323-1837. Thanks!
