SMART STUDENT CITIZENSHIP
The Administration and staff at Smart fell that the conduct of our students is very important. We are proud of our school,  the students and their accomplishments. The goal for each person associated with Smart should be able to make our school a better place to learn skills for a successful  career. In order for learning to take place, a cooperative,  pleasant atmosphere will exist. Students will show respect and manners for each other and authorities of this school. Students will be responsible for their actions and the following rights will be enforced.

1.  Everyone has the right to be treated with respect and dignity.
a.  Name calling/profane language will not be tolerated.
b.  Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

2.  Everyone has the right to a free and appropriate public education.
a.  Interfering with access to daily attendance will not be tolerated.
b.  Creating a disturbance in the classroom will not be tolerated.

3.  All reasonable requests by Smart faculty and staff will be honored.
a.  Insubordination will not be tolerated.
b.  Disrespect will not be tolerated.

Failure to follow and abide by the above citizenship policy at Frank L. Smart School or on a school sponsored activity will not be tolerated.
