Virtual Learning During Inclement Weather – Parent Communication – The DCSD Board voted and approved the Virtual Learning During Inclement Weather. Click the link to learn more about the schedule students are expected to follow when a “virtual learning day” is declared. This process goes into effect on 2/15/2021 (Spanish; Vietnamese; French; Swahili)
District-Wide 100% Online-Only Learning – Extended Through December 16, 2020: The district has extended its remote learning through December 16th. However, if the numbers of positive cases decrease to an acceptable amount, DCSD may decide to return to Hybrid Learning. Food Services and Mental Health Services are still available and being offered. Please click the link above for more information.
Smart Jr. High Student and Family Remote Learning Guide: This is Smart Intermediate’s procedures and expectations for Hybrid Students while DCSD is in remote learning. Student involvement is required. This PDF explains the student expectations while learning remote and outlines a schedule that students are expected to follow. If your student is doing 100% ONLINE in Edgenuity, they will continue to do these lessons in Edgenuity. Meals will be available at Smart M-F or you can continue to contact the DCSD Food Nutrition Services office at 563.336.7430.

Attendance Procedures for Families – Hybrid and 100% Online 2020-2021: A district video showing how students can “check in” for attendance on at-home learning days. Students must check in one during the day using the procedure outlined in the video.
Davenport Community School District COVID-19 Status Update: This page reports the district’s COVID-19 numbers for the last two weeks. Report includes the number of individuals testing positive, individuals currently quarantining related to District exposure, new individuals placed in quarantine related to District COVID exposure, and individuals who quarantined and returned.
