BY-LAWS OF THE BOARD
Elections
Regular elections shall be held annually on the second Tuesday in September as provided in the Code of Iowa.
Special elections may be called by the Board of Directors with reference to those matters stipulated in Chapter 277.2 which are applicable to the school district.
The polling places for school elections shall be approved by the Commissioner of Elections upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors and, once approved, shall remain the same unless changed by the Commissioner.
Balloting at school elections will be by printed ballot or voting machines as determined by the Commissioner of Elections.
The Commissioner may appoint a deputy to conduct a school election.
