Line of Authority
Under the general direction of the Superintendent is shall be
the duty of the teachers:
To be directly responsible in the general performance of their
school work to the school principal to whom they are assigned.
To cooperate with the other agencies of the school and receive
such assistance as may be available from supervisors who are working in special
departments throughout the school system.
At every level of the organization an individual always has
the right of appeal to the next higher authority (as from teacher to director,
or from principal or supervisor to Superintendent, or from Superintendent to the
Board). If an appeal is to be made, common courtesy demands that the
administrative officer over whom the appeal is to be made should be notified in
advance.
