North High School Announcements Week of Sept 16th

If you’re interested in the Middle Ages, if you think it would be cool to create an alternate you, if you remember doing Medieval Days as a 6th grader at Wood and would like to be on the other side of the teachers desk, or if you just like history and acting, the North Medieval Group might be for you.  We meet every Monday after school in room 329 from 3:40-4:30.  We’d love to have you join us.

“Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be hosting their first meeting of the year this Wednesday September 18th, after school in Coach Polite’s room 120.  Come and be a part of this fun club”.

Attention students make sure to check in the cafeteria to see if you need a new application filled out for this year.  October 8th many of you will be going to paying status.

Homecoming shirts are on sale in the activities office or on the online store.  Short sleeved are $15 and long sleeved are $20.

Juniors and Seniors:  On Wednesday, September 25th from 1:30 to 3:30, during 4th block and right after school, Gear Up will be hosting a college fair in our main gym.  We currently have 36 schools committed to attending which is up significantly from last year.

On Wednesday, September 25th, from 3:30 to 6:30, during conferences, we will have our computer lab open for all seniors to fill out and submit college applications as well as apply for your FSA ID which will be needed to fill out your FAFSA form in October.  We will have people available to help you with both of these tasks at that time, take advantage!

Students don’t forget to buy a parking pass if you are parking at school! Also, if you park on the east side, you cannot park in the first two rows.  Those are for the YMCA.  You will be ticketed!

    • The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 16th from 8:35 AM to approximately 12:35PM.
    • You may register for the PSAT test now until October 4th, 2019 with Ms. Gibbs in Student Services.
    • Please note that seats are available on a first come, first serve basis.
    • The cost is $25.00 and must be paid at the time of registration. Checks should be made payable to North High School. A minimum amount of fee waivers are available for students who fit the criteria.
