DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
5/9—Congratulations to the Girls golf team. They finished in 5th place at Dubuque Invitational yesterday. Alison Miller placed 3rd over all out of 40 players. Stacy Kelly and Melissa Kern also shot personal bests. Way to go lady golfers.
5/9—Boys Track team will compete at the District Meet tonight at Pleasant Valley. Led by Blake White the boys are attempting to qualify as many as possible for the State Meet. Darian Peer, Thomas Haut, Justin Brown, Alec Fetterer, Kimani Humphries, Demetrius Johnson. D’Jon Lowder, Dustin Hawley, Jordan Arvanis, Hakeem Davis, Brad Frick, Lincoln Mayes, Bendrick Smith, Drew Fleetwood, Zack Morris and Nathan Thiessen will all be competing. Good Luck Boys Track!
5/9—This is a reminder for all cheerleaders to turn in their order form by next Friday.
5/9—Boys Tennis is proud to announce a district win versus North Scott in single. Matt Burmeister won in straight sets 6-2, 7-6 versus Mike Braden.
5/9--Any staff or student may purchase 5 X 7 glass picture frames on a 4-leg stand for $5.00 in the Activities Office. If you purchase during lunch periods, they will sell for $4.00.
5/9—If you missed the North High Dance Team tryouts and your still interested in participating see Coach Ludtke in the gym lobby after school today or contact the Activities Office. You must have your name in or contact Coach Ludtke no later than today. Dance team practice for the Follies is right after school also.
5/8-5/14—The Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be administrated on May 15th in the ROTC room #705 testing will begin approximately at 7:40 and finish at the end of 2nd block 10:50 any Junior or Senior interested in taking this test sign up with GYSgt Livingston, SSgt McNeil on Ms. Borgstadt before Wednesday May 14th.
5/9--National Honor Society Juniors interested in being an officer next year need to see Mrs. Wallace in Room 436 this week. We will vote Tuesday, May 13th after school.
5/9--Attention: Seniors: If you have received a scholarship or an award, please let the guidance office know by today. We want to recognize you at the Senior Awards Reception on May 14th, during block II. We can’t invite you if we don’t know!
