3-17-March - Attention: March Grads. It is time for seniors who are graduating in March to start their check-out process. Please stop in the guidance office to pick up your green check out slip. You are required to complete this process in order to be considered a graduate and to receive future senior information. Please pick up your slip & return it to Mrs. Wiese this week!!
3-17-March - Attention all students interested in participating in the iJAG program, we are starting our recruitment for next year and if you want to be a part of this great program you must stop in to see Mrs. Martinez in room 406. Join the iJAG program and get help with college and job readiness skills needed to succeed after high school. Recruitment ends on Friday, and it will be a first come first serve enrollment process.
3-16-March - Seniors who plan to become a medical physician, please stop in the guidance office today and pick up the Dooley Scholarship.
3-16-March – Attention Upward Bound Students! Due to the 2 hour early out on March 17th the meeting will be at 1:00 PM at West High School. Meet Pam in the Front Common Area.
3-16-March – Seniors Simpson College will be her today, please go to the Guidance Office.
3-16-March – All Boy Basketball players, there will be a meeting after school today. Please be there!

3-18-March – Attention all Boys playing tennis this season, if you plan on ordering a hat or t-shirt see Coach Hall today after school. Also, if you have not gone to the activities office and picked up your Wild Cat card, please do so ASAP. Practice starts next Monday March 22nd!
3-19-March – Have you ordered your Yearbook yet? If not, order your 2010 Norwica today online, in the Activities Office, or by phone. The sooner you order, the better off you will be because books are selling quickly. Remember – The Norwica is who we are!
3-16-March – Girl’s Tennis – Be sure you come to practice today with your Wildcat Pass. Practice runs from 3-4:30 for all levels. Meet at the courts unless it is raining. Meet in Coach Christian’s Room if raining.
3-16-March - Boy's soccer practice starts today from 3 to 5pm down by the track. Players need to pick up their wildcat cards in the Activities office before they can practice.
3-17-March – Davenport North Science Alliance – Please pick up your permission slips on the door of 126. The field trip to the radio station is March 25th!
3-16-March - Seniors – don’t forget the senior group picture on Wednesday, March 17th, in the Large Gym at 10:05am. All seniors should report to the Large Gym at the end of 2nd block. If you have misplaced your ordering envelope there is a limited supply of extra envelopes in the Activities Office.
3-17-March – Tickets for Anything Goes North’s all School Musical, are $10 for adults and $7 for students. Reserve your seats today!
4-30-April - Attention Juniors and Seniors!! Our 2010 Prom and After Prom is approaching! Something new with after prom this year is that we have a teacher who has agreed to get hypnotized if we raise $200. I know you all want to see that happen to Mr. Guy Heller. So stop by the Activities' Office and drop in $.50 or $1 and it will happen. We can't let Central show us up with their faculty person so teachers and students drop your change in Mr. Heller's jar. Freshman and Sophomores you want to help, we'd appreciate it. Thanks from the After Prom Committee!

4-10-April - Iowa Hawkeye football player Julian Vandervelde and mountain climber Lori Schneider will speak at the Davenport Schools Foundation fundraiser-gala on Saturday, April 10, at 7 p.m. at the Putnam Museum and IMAX Theatre in Davenport. Vandervelde is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. Schneider climbed Mt. Everest in 2009 and is the only woman with multiple sclerosis to ever climb the highest mountain on all seven continents. Proceeds will help the Great Minds program. Tickets are $50. Contact Norm Bower at the foundation office at 563-336-5004. (Repeat number)
