Principal's Message
Welcome to North High
School where an innovative staff has high academic standards for our
diverse student body. North has implemented a 9th Grade Academy to
better transition students to high school and Project Lead the Way, a
pre-engineering program, to prepare students for exciting post secondary
careers. North guides students' choices to better prepare graduates for
post secondary opportunities. North students participate in a host of
experiences among which are our award winning MCJROTC, athletics, and
fine arts programs. North was honored by the Iowa Department of
Education as a "model school" for high school reform. North staff has
been presenters at numerous local, state and national conferences
showcasing initiatives underway at North. As a "Fine" recognized high
school, North prides itself on being on the cutting edge as it strives
to meet our students' needs. North High continues to be a community
focal point with ready access to the Holzworth Performing Arts Center
and the North Family YMCA. |
