  • Message to Concurrent Enrollment Students

This is a message about your college course(s) with SCC. I hope this message finds you healthy. From
the beginning of this crisis, your health, safety and success have been our top priority. As we continue
to follow guidance from state and federal officials, we have made the following decisions:

    • College classes taught in the high schools will move to online delivery this month where
possible. You will receive communications from your instructor(s) as to which of your classes
may be transitioning to online delivery. The classes will resume online in April and will continue
online until we receive word about face-to-face class schedules in the high schools.
    • For other courses where online delivery may not be possible, your instructor will notify you of
alternative options that will be available for your class(es). Some classes may have extended end
    •  EICC scheduled college graduation ceremonies have been cancelled. We are working on
alternative plans to celebrate our graduates, but be assured earned academic awards will be
      granted in a timely manner.
    • Canvas resource page: https://www.eicc.edu/future-students/online-classes/everythingcanvas.aspx

Much has changed this Spring Semester, but I want to assure you that our commitment to you as a
student has not wavered. We continue to work on providing quality content in your courses while
respecting these changing circumstances and the need for flexibility. College advisors are here to help
you in any way they can. Many resources are available online and by phone, and we will continue to
communicate important information to you as we finalize additional plans to support your success.

Please continue to check the EICC web page for the latest official EICC COVID-19 related information
eicc.edu/covid19 and links to our remotely delivered student resources eicc.edu/c19studentservices
We realize that this has been a difficult time, and on behalf of the college community, let me extend our
hopes for good health for you and your families. Please reach out to your instructors and advisors, if
there is anything we might be able to do to help you be successful.

Stay safe and healthy. Finish strong.

    Dr. Daniel Marvin
EICC Dean of Concurrent Enrollment and CTE
