Congratulations to the North Art Department in competing in and winning the 2nd Annual Graffiti for Good Contest . This is the 2nd year that North won first place. This was part of the Pete’s Awesome CommUNITY Party at the Bettendorf Waterfront Convention Center and was an entire day focused around anti-bullying and positive multi-cultural activities, hosted by QC United. There were 11 schools involved in this contest that was judged by two college art professors. Thanks to the girls that came up with the idea and created the 3 foot by 3 foot artwork that was spray painted and airbrushed along with collage work of anti-bullying articles. The team was Sabrina Sprout, Karlenia Hildebrant, and Stephanie VanRycke.
