The Photographic Society of America (PSA) is a worldwide organization providing a wide range of services that promote photography and benefits to its members. Competitions are held for clubs, councils, federations and chapters, also. An annual youth photography showcase, open to all students of high school age, is conducted as well.
The goal of the PSA Youth Showcase is to involve the Society, its Chapters, clubs, councils, federations and PSA members in the promotion and education of photography among young people, especially within the Society’s area of influence by highlighting outstanding photographs from high school age students in public or private schools, and home schooled individuals. Entries are limited to sixteen entries, 8 prints and 8 digital images, from any one school.
North High School students Hunter Bell, Haley Nicholson and Macao Jackson all won in this years Youth Showcase with the following photographs. They will receive a certificate and cash prize and their photographs will be published in the PSA Journal .This is a world -wide competition and we are very proud of these Wildcat Photographers!
