The North High AP Studio Art students spent the night out in Eldridge making a new type of art, working with resin. Students traveled to North Scott High School and met their advanced students starting off with a pizza party. We collaborated and experimented the possibilities of mixing epoxy resin with art to make a glass like finish over the top and within their artwork. There was a presentation and examples shown by both North High art teacher, Dave Schaeffer and North Scott art teacher, Michele Mess. Both schools did an awesome job of sharing ideas and getting to know each other. We look forward to more experiences like this in the future.
