Monroe Marathon March 2007
On March 23rd Monroe students had a busy day. We began with the
Monroe Marathon; a 30 minute Wellness activity that has every student 
and
adult from Monroe running the track. Some students ran 2 miles in 30 minutes!
After the marathon, the entire student body walked to the Putnam iMax Theater to
view movies as a reward for having 100% participation on the Iowa Tests of Basic
Skills. Thanks to Rory Keehn and the Monroe
Dad's Club for paying for this activity. The Day concluded
with Celebration assemblies in the Auditorium. What a great day!
