Dare Graduation 2006
On November 21, 2006, the Monroe 5th Grade Graduated from the DARE
Program. Officer Chuck Lee of the Davenport
Police Department led the class through weeks of discussion, projects
and essay writing to this point. The students learned about the risks
associated with drugs, alcohol and violence. In addition to the DARE
curriculum that officer Lee delivers, the students were able to develop
a relationship with him that will last a lifetime. The students benefit
from both the curriculum and the good-will brought by Officer Lee. |
