Birdies for Charity
     Monroe Dad’s Club has participated with the John Deere Classic / Birdies for Charity program for many years.  We have been fortunate to have had our annual Author / Illustrator visits made possible through the generous support of Dad’s Club funds which come in part from your efforts and support.  Please consider donating to this important cause.  There are several ways that you can pledge.
     The easiest way to pledge is to make a one-time flat pledge – just indicate an amount that you would like to donate.  It could be a  $5.00,   $10.00 pledge – whatever YOU feel comfortable with.      The second way is to indicate how much you would pay for every birdie made during the John Deere Classic.  Example – a 1¢ pledge per birdie based on the  2006 # of birdies made (1974 birdies )  would be a cost of $19.74. 
     Return your form to Mrs. Valle
     After the tournament you will be sent a notice of your pledge amount due with an addressed/ stamped envelop to return your payment.  
     The FUN part comes when you guess the number of Birdies you think will be made this year.  IF you are the lucky one you could win a 2007 Buick Enclave.  Just check with Mrs. Heller about the year they won the car!!
     Forms are available in the office or from Mrs. Valle.    Also, please consider encouraging friends and family to complete a form and support Monroe .
