    PENNIES FOR PASTA!

     MONROE FAMILY      “WE NEED YOU”

    Monroe will be be participating in a fundraising event called “Pennies for Pasta” to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Students can raise money by bringing in spare change the week of February 12th-16th or raise awareness by participating in dress up days for the week.     GREEN AND GROWING – 2nd QUARTER

    SKYHAWKS ARE CELEBRATING AS PART OF ACHIEVING!

     Monroe students are continuing to work diligently to complete goals and assignments. This is demonstrated in our “Green and Growing” assembly each quarter as they are recognized for their efforts.

     A brand new “Green and Growing” Tree has been added to the entrance lobby. It demonstrates the efforts of Mr. Driscoll in making the tree and the leaves represent books read by our students. This quarter students were rewarded

    HOLIDAY MUSIC PERFORMANCE

      Do not miss the Holiday Music Performance by our 4th and 5th Graders! They   have been working diligently, along with Music Director, Anne Page, and are   excited to present a wonderful music kickoff for the season. The concert will be presented in the gym at Frank L.     “THANKS TO MID CITY STUDENTS”

        More “thanks” are in order. Mid City students, Saul Boyles       and Dylan Lane, put their innovation skills to great use in       providing our 4th grade students with an hour of training in       ‘code.’ The Mid City Innovators provided a problem which         students then solved utilizing digital tools.
