    awards-and-recogMonroe students completed the First Quarter 2016-2017 by celebrating with an assembly and presentation of awards for perfect attendance, demonstration and practice of  Boystown skills, and recognition for outstanding work in music, art, and library performance.     Monroe Teacher Brett Monnard and West High Teacher Jay Swords attended the acongrats-emojinnual Iowa Talented and Gifted (ITAG) Conference October 17th and 18th.  They presented 5 breakout sessions.
