On October 2, 20 Monroe students received the “Optimist Lifeskills Award” presented by the Optimist Club. Our BOOK FAIR will be coming back to Monroe School Monday, Oct. 20 – Thursday, Oct. 23. There will be many GREAT books available to buy for your own home libraries, and all sales help our school library buy more books! On September 26, students at Monroe school celebrated their first “Green and Growing” celebration!
Students who are “green” are those who are currently meeting grade-level expectations.
Students who are “growing” are demonstrating measurable growth towards achieving grade-level expectations.

On September 25, the group “From Cover to Cover” presented Monroe Kindergarteners with comfy blankets and their very own book! The blankets are made by community volunteers and participating schools.
