    SECOND GRADE READER’S THEATER

    The second grade classes presented Reader’s Theater in celebration of Thanksgiving, providing family, friends, and classmates with presentation of their reading and drama skills!  

    When ‘performing’ Reader’s Theater, students act out a written story (script) which is divided among them. There are no required costumes, special lighting or memorization, just reading as fun!

    Monroe Teacher Brett Monnard and West High Teacher Jay Swords attended the acongrats-emojinnual Iowa Talented and Gifted (ITAG) Conference October 17th and 18th.  They presented 5 breakout sessions.
