Senior Izzy Parker-Tatum turned in her candidate paperwork to officially run as a candidate for DCSD School Board.
IYC members held a meeting with state Senator Roby Smith and Representative Phyllis Thede to discuss their Equalizing State Funding bill.

Mid City choir students, Lacey Tucker, Chrissie Bein, and Lauren Hodges, led by Mr. Wilkinson, sing the ‘National Anthem’ for members of the Rotary Club.
The Davenport Digital Innovators class kick-off was today at Hamilton Technical College! Three Mid City High School students were selected to participate!
Finals for all other students will be Thursday, January 14th and Friday, January 15th. Both of these days are 2 hour early dismissals. This means that students get out at 1:02 on both of these days. If students have missing work or make up work to do then they can do this on Thursday, January 14th between 1:02 and 3:02. They will also have the opportunity to do make up work from 8:10-9:10 on Friday January 15th.
We do not have school on Monday January, 18th in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
The 3rd quarter begins on Tuesday, January 19th.
Mid City’s Graduation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 7:00pm at the Galvin Fine Arts Center at St. Ambrose University. We are very proud of our graduates!!
