Steven has made lots of progress in the last couple of years.  He is a great role model, never a behavior problem, and does a great job taping basketball games!  Good job Steven! - Kathy Schadel RN, BSN
Steven and I have gotten to know each other this year through his tireless devotion to filming our basketball team’s games. On top of being a mature young gentleman, he’s a talented videographer. I’m very proud of Steven and all he’s done this year. He’s a great addition to Kimberly Center East. Way to go Steven! - Mr. Driscoll
Steven Barnes has been a great student to have in my class. He has always worked very hard, completed his work and earned good grades. With his great attitude and work ethic, he should be able to achieve all of his goals, continue on to college, and become a hard working citizen of Davenport .It has been a pleasure to have him in class. Keep up the good work Steven, and what a great job videotaping the Kimberly Center Basketball Games!!!!! From one of your favorite teachers. - Judy Porter

I  have known Steven for several years he has continued to grow as a student here at KC.  He has done an outstanding job taking videos of the basketball games.  More important than that is the positive and cooperative attitude that he displays during the games. He has been a big part of this new adventure that we have started here at KC. - Steve Foster

The first time I saw you, after you were chosen as Student of the Week, I absolutely loved pounding you on the back . . . you smiled!!!  It has been my pleasure to have you in more than one class over the past several terms.  You are an excellent role model for any student who wants to learn how to be attentive, responsible, and hard-working.  When grading times roll around, I know I will be entering an above-average grade in science for you.  Keep setting and reaching new goals, Steven.  You truly deserve this award. - Ms. Gaydosh
Way to go Steven, you have come a long way and deserve this, congratulations. - Joseph F. Malik
