Student
of the Week – December 6, 2007
Arvis
I am pleased to nominate Arvis Quinn for student of the week.
Arvis is in my advisory group. I have seen amazing changes in Arvis when
it comes to reading. Last year Arvis didn’t want to read at all, now
this year she is going through books like there’s no tomorrow. I feel
lucky to have Arvis in my class. She is a leader and participates very
well when we are doing focus lessons. I predict that the future holds many
great things for Arvis. Congratulations! - Mrs. Heinen
Arvis
does a great job in Student Council. I don’t know how Student Council could
function without her. I also enjoy her nice smile and positive attitude. This
year is the first time I have had Arvis in class and it has been a pleasure.
Congrats girl! You deserve it! - Miss Jones
I am thrilled that Arvis has earned
Student of the Week. Her grades are excellent and her teachers have wonderful
things to say about how hard she works in class. I have noticed an improvment in
Arvis' behavior, too, and I am very proud of
her for that. Arvis is always willing to help me out whenever I ask
for help with anything, and I really appreciate that. Arvis is a great
mom- when I see her with her son I can tell how much she loves him. Way to go,
Arvis... keep up the good work! - Jessica Hankins
We
have picked Another bright bulb for this week's student. Arvis is
a mathematical marvel. She studies until she masters new
concepts. She is a wonderful mother for her son while being an
exemplary student. Arvis is truly a beacon for other students to emulate. - Nielsen
I have been fortunate enough to know
Avris and other members of her family for quite a while. I enjoy all of them and
especially Avris. Keep up the good
work and excellent attitude. Your future will be great. - Jeanette Phillips
Nice
job Girl! I am very proud of the positive changes I have seen in you over the
last few weeks! It has been a pleasure having you in class and I am also
very proud of your efforts in the art projects. Keep up the great job. -
Mrs. Lopez
Arvis I am so
proud of you. You have worked hard and deserve the honor of being Student
of the Week. You are a great person and mom and I think you will go far in
the future. - Kathy Schadel
Arvis I know that you
love your son and would do anything for him. That quality is wonderful to see in
a young mother.
- Linda Hittenmiller
I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Arvis this
school year through Student Council. She is a very hard and competent
worker and also demonstrates great leadership skills. When given a job,
there is no doubt that is will be completed accurately, in a timely manner, and
done to perfection. Student Council would not be the same without Arvis.
Keep up your work ethic and your positive attitude and you will definitely have
a positive future! Congratulations, Arvis! - Mrs. Petersen
Arvis has
always been a pleasure to have in class. She works very hard to not only
complete assignments, but do a great job on them. Her forthrightness in
her studies is admirable. She is a great example of someone who has
overcome several obstacles to get to where she is right now. Way to go! -
Ms. Hansen
It’s been my great pleasure to get to know
Arvis this year. She is a young lady with a great deal of potential. I love her
unique view of the world had how she shows compassion for others. Great job! –
Mr. Driscoll
