Student of the Week - Marissa
     Rissy- I was happy to nominate you for student of the week!  You deserve it girl.  I have watched you grow into a mature, responsible young lady and mother.  I am so proud of everything you have accomplished.  You are almost there –graduation is just around the corner, keep up the great work…Congratulations! - Mrs. Lopez

     I have had the pleasure of having Marissa in my Focus/SSR class for many years.  She has always done an outstanding job participating in the Focus lessons and reading and journaling.  Marissa is the one who got me hooked on several of the James Patterson book series and I enjoy discussing the books with her.  She is a great role model and always strives for excellence.  I have high hopes that Marissa will make good choices and therefore will have a very bright and successful future, not only for herself, but also her daughter.  Keep up the good work, Marissa!  You have waited a long time for this recognition!  Congratulations! -Mrs. Petersen
