Unity Fest

     The 1^st Annual Unity Fest Art Competition was held on Sept 22^nd in the District of Rock Island.  Teams were asked to design a board to celebrate the rich diversity that exists within the Quad City area.  Unity Fest joined with the Coexistence Exhibition at the Figge this year.  Students at the Kimberly Center used the graffiti method and designed their thoughts on the word Unity. The two art students that participated were Jake Starling and Cody Fischlein, these two students were at the Unity fest from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. promoting their artwork for the public to drop pennies
